I had noticed that one of my old time favorite sites YouAreLame.com was down for a while so I tried to make a clone of it with more added features (added ecard sender, HTML codes for copy & pasting to your pages, added other gag images that dynamically add the victims name, added links to other funny dynamic sites). I came up with the idea of making a personal page generator that allows you to make a "hatepage" for jerks you know (ex boyfriends/girlfriends, politicians, celbrities, rich people, your boss, teachers, coworkers, students, etc.).

You can use a form there to enter a victims name (First Last) or you can just change the web address to something like http://www.george-bush.is-a-jerk.com/ or http://www.your-name.is-a-jerk.com/ (you can use a dot, dash or underscore for space between first and last names). This site has been set up as a prank to send to friends and enimies. You can send an ecard (anonymously) from the site with a custom "hate mail" message and also the person's name entered will be converted to their own custom gag page (if you emailed the name John Doe, they will get an added message like: I googled for John Doe and I found site http://www.john-doe.is-a-jerk.com/ #1 ranking).

You are provided the HTML codes for linking to the page or adding the top flash animation to your blogs/sites. Each generated URL/page has an anymous emailer at the bottom of the page.

Be careful, you may hurt someone's feelings with this web tool!

http://www.signgenerator.org/ got a thumbs down from About.com because of the difficulty using the geneartors (this was very depressing as they would not list our site for huge PROMO). They explained that there were too many choices and too many buttons/dropdowns and fillable forms that would confuse the average computer user. THIS MEANS THAT I MUST DOWNGRADE THE SIGN GENERATOR WIDGETS!

I have started making them easier to use, here's an example using one of the church sign generators: BEFORE and AFTER. You will notice far less settings to confuse web users (you can still goto the advanced page to do more text styles) and now you do not need to make individual lines of text, just one line will get spaced in the image properly and automatically.

I know many people complained IN THE PAST about the complicated sign generators (all the gradient fills, multiple lines of text, watermarking, comic bubbles, etc), all the advanced settings were confusing the majority, but people liked the ease of use on my sites like http://www.avatargenerator.org/, http://www.happyfacegenerator.com/, http://www.text2logo.com/, etc... I only wanted to have the most advanced settings to give the most possibilities as all the other sign generator sites on the net were so basic to me and didn't have the fuctionality I was looking for. I guess you can make things too good.
