Different effects for Internet Explorer as CSS3 is not fully functional and Microsoft incorporated extra filters that are not seen in Google Chrome, FireFox, Safari, etc) and you will see some other effects show up when using Chrome or non IE browsers.

www.SillyWebcam.com is a site to use webcam online (no software to install) to play games (motion sensing, hand tracking), take pictures and play with live video effects.

SillyWebcam.com finally working again (wouldn't let you save images for last 6 months) and you can take snapshots again (save as JPG). Now it uses Flash 10 and ActionScript 3 and uses the users PC to process the image instead of my server needing to do heavy ASP/PHP processing. I also added a few new effects. I also made some of the webcam video effects able to take snap shots and save as JPEG files too! Eventually all the webcam games and video effects will allow you to save...

This was a big task as basically everything I spent years learning up to Macromedia Flash 8 (I started with Flash 4) were all wasted as most my scripts (source code FLA files) will not work in Adobe Flash 10, even the programming words/phrases are different and can handle different variables. I have been having to relearn how to make Flash content, it's been frustrating feeling like it will all be useless again in a few years (sure Adobe will keep things the same and just add new features, they bought out another company Macromedia and wanted to make it their way, I would too).

What is a fan sign?

Ever see someone holding a homemade cardboard sign up at a sports game (hockey, football, baseball, cricket, rugby, etc) field, arena or stadium? Well that's a classic example of a sports "fan sign" (a sign a fan makes to cheer on their favorite team or player)! We have all sorts of people holding signs that you can change the words on.

A digital fan sign is basically any hand made (usually hand written too) sign (from paper sheets, posterboard, whiteboards, etc) with text that was made by a fan of yours (maybe a fan of your website/blog/forum, fan of your band, best friend). Often the person who created the fan sign will pose to a camera to capture a photo of them with the sign they made (converted to a JPG web image). New Online Photo Layout Editor Tool

I have recieved many emails from people saying that the "Put Your Face On Another Body" web tool @ http://www.bodyswitcher.com/ is not working well and is glitchy with the DHTML layers and JavaScript codes (doesn't run well on non updated web browsers). So for the last week I have been creating a Adobe (Macromedia) Flash program to do the layouts (give it a try HERE).

The new layout tool offers drag and drop, clickable buttons to control all the funtions and even keyboard keys interact with the application! I even added the ability to rotate your images (although it has some glitches to be worked on). This will be incorporated into the other photograph mash-up tools @ http://www.fototrix.com/.

It's much fun putting your face on another person's body, just as long as it is easy to do so!

PLEASE HELP! The coding still has some issues, the biggest being when you rotate an image, it is off kilter when you process the final JPEG image (math using ActionScript vs ASP/PHP, the rotation processes do not match up). Maybe some experts can advise me on things to do to make it better (just make a comment to reply)?

I had noticed that one of my old time favorite sites YouAreLame.com was down for a while so I tried to make a clone of it with more added features (added ecard sender, HTML codes for copy & pasting to your pages, added other gag images that dynamically add the victims name, added links to other funny dynamic sites). I came up with the idea of making a personal page generator that allows you to make a "hatepage" for jerks you know (ex boyfriends/girlfriends, politicians, celbrities, rich people, your boss, teachers, coworkers, students, etc.).

You can use a form there to enter a victims name (First Last) or you can just change the web address to something like http://www.george-bush.is-a-jerk.com/ or http://www.your-name.is-a-jerk.com/ (you can use a dot, dash or underscore for space between first and last names). This site has been set up as a prank to send to friends and enimies. You can send an ecard (anonymously) from the site with a custom "hate mail" message and also the person's name entered will be converted to their own custom gag page (if you emailed the name John Doe, they will get an added message like: I googled for John Doe and I found site http://www.john-doe.is-a-jerk.com/ #1 ranking).

You are provided the HTML codes for linking to the page or adding the top flash animation to your blogs/sites. Each generated URL/page has an anymous emailer at the bottom of the page.

Sign Generator Thumbnail Selector

For the growing list of sign geneartors on http://www.signgenerator.org/, I have finally got around to making some thumbnails on a page to let visitors have a quick glance of the image generator instead of just a text description. It's a big page though, 500 tiny images take a while to load for some on slower connections (get DSL or cable internet if you can).

I also have remade the scripts for 85% of the generators on that page to be easier to use (less complicated advanced settings, now there is a link on each to take you to the advanced editor if you miss the feature). These new scripts auto align text and restricts the complete text area to parts of the image I designate (no text going over the lines or out of bounds). It was much work remaking and relaying out over 400 image generators!

I had a request to make some simplier/basic templates for clipart (not photographs) makers of various road signs using some supplied vector PDF files of road signs.

I decided to make these templates even though I felt they were going to be boring and too plain (I rejected the idea before I had requests). But after I started making a few templates up, I started seeing that sometimes simple fake looking graphics can look good with personalized mesages on them. Sign Generators Get Downgraded

http://www.signgenerator.org/ got a thumbs down from About.com because of the difficulty using the geneartors (this was very depressing as they would not list our site for huge PROMO). They explained that there were too many choices and too many buttons/dropdowns and fillable forms that would confuse the average computer user. THIS MEANS THAT I MUST DOWNGRADE THE SIGN GENERATOR WIDGETS!

I have started making them easier to use, here's an example using one of the church sign generators: BEFORE and AFTER. The Simpsons Movie And Sign Generators

I just got back from The Simpsons Movie that played for the first day (I went to the cheap matinee) at our local theater (luckily the had it on the same day it was released to the public). It wasn't bad, many people were laughing alot. To me it was just a long episode without any commercials (well they do through in some Fox ads to annoy you). I wouldn't suggest paying more than 5-6 bucks to watch this movie as it's not worth 10 dollars to sit and watch in those uncomfortable seats.

With the Christmas shopping/holiday season upon us yet again, I have recieved several emails over the last few months requesting a list of the image generators that are able to be made into magnets (some aren't such as the animated GIF glitter maker, only about 50% of the image generators can be made into magnets) and seems to be a popular and common question.
